Carlos has studied under Yiu Song Lam, Kyeong Ham, Emmanuel Laville, Anni Haapaniemi and has received lessons from Jacques Tys, Jerome Guichard, Thomas Indermühle, Fabien Thouand, and Olivier Doise.

Currently in the Masters’ programme for Music Performance at the Sibelius Academy, Carlos has played with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Klangforum Wien, Kamarikuoro Viva Vox, as well as orchestras in Hong Kong such as the Hong Kong Generation Next Arts Orchestra.

Carlos actively strives to challenge existing models and attitudes of classical music, incorporating different styles and elements from his own compositions and cultural background, hoping to achieve a unique result that can provoke the audience members’ pre-existing notions of music.
