AMALUR

FROM AN IDEA ONE SUMMER TO A RECORD LABEL

AMALUR is a cross-genre collective / label founded in Helsinki, Finland. It first started off as a clothing up-cycle project, with ERDOCIA adding spray-paint stencil prints on unwanted clothes he collected. Soon enough, with the help of Henri Hytti and Aleksi Roitto as well as the permission of oneRPM (the parent record label), the collective was developed to what it is today. AMALUR’s aim is to remove the ideas of splitting music up in genres - with its artists releasing music that ranges from Hip Hop to Jungle and in the coming months, RnB. Our philosophy is that artists should have full creative liberty and not conform to what they believe the listeners want to hear.
